Surprise! The other podcast isn’t ready so we moved MRC up by a week. We wrap up March 1963 with Thor in Journey Into Mystery #90, Human Torch in Strange Tales #106, the introduction of Iron Man in Tales of Suspense #39, and Ant-Man in Tales to Astonish #41! Soft-hearted fools! Matching berets! Filing cabinets filled with rocks! Evil window-washers! Big changes now that Kirby is off the books!

I got it in my head to see if the Xartans from the Thor story every appeared again. Turns out they did in an '88 issue of X-Factor, and in a number of issues of the Sensational She-Hulk series by John Byrne in '92. Somewhere in these later appearances, it was decided that the Xartans' shape shifting abilities were the result of experiments by the Celestials, who will be appearing in the upcoming MCU movie The Eternals.
Also, they apparently showed up in seasons 2 & 3 of The Runaways tv show! I should have known that one, because my family and I have watched all of those.
